Clients often choose their glass bottles from hundreds of samples, before selecting a glass bottle manufactured usually in France or China. Custom logo engraved on the top of the bottle cap, using laser engraving method. Custom pattern are applied to the side ring of the closure. One pattern on the front of the glass bottle indicates the brand name of the product, as well as the founder who developed the distillery.
All luxury cork stoppers are hand-crafted at Astrid Packaging’s workshop, which requires experience, skill and precision to accomplish consistency on each cork stopper. After the corks are assembled, Astrid Packaging uses the pieces to seal the glass bottle.
The bottle neck label is embossed with custom designed pattern of the bourbon. The copper color is the favorite color of most bourbon makers, which is a prominent color for both neck label and bottle stoppers. It is said that copper builds a connection with old-fashioned copper stills. Smallest details like these certainly generate the concept of an exclusive and premium liquor product.
Instead of using a traditional bottle closure, the bottle packaging design adopt a wooden top cork to seal the glass bottle and highlight its look. In order to coordinate with other bourbon packaging components, the tone of the wood top cork is achieved by hydrographics. The zamak coin on top of the wood cap is electroplated, polished for a vintage look. Each wood stopper is printed with a different hydrographic effect, so each one is unique.
Even the smallest details make a difference in brand perception when consumers are shopping for luxury liquors or spirits. Astrid Packaging aims at high-end markets like this, keeping up with the market demand, always trying new liquor bottle packaging designs.
